excellent work here Paul.
just started listening here. That first one is a beauty. The perky synth part around 3 minutes - love that stuff!
just starting 2 now.. 8)

i've finally had a chance to listen front to back..

one of the stand out aspects of the composition is the use of generally slower rates of modulation to build a sustaining base ... these slow , majestic sweeps lay a foundation that support the more frantic aspects , allowing them to range far , and wide ...

the listener is transported to the virtual realm of a dark , deserted plateau ...
the night sky streaked with pale light ...

time , and again the sonic palette evokes the brief flare , the translucent afterimage , and
the descent into darkness ...

i gonna carefully listen to each of them.

firt impression: great ambient atmosphere, with some kind of old synth sounds appearing here and there, old sounds which i'm not sure about.

overall it seems to be a very nice trip.

On my 3rd full listen. Manytone, I bow before you. This is as good as anything I have heard from anyone. It's going into my car tomorrow.

Would love to know what you used as well.

Strangely enough, I really dig "trails of the vapors" (Absynth there?)

The influence of active observing is readily apparent in these excellent tracks. I agree with vurt that track 3 is very vangelic, which is a good thing ;)

You need to do a bonus track titled ,Crap..eyepiece fogged on me again..', as a nod to insiders :D

Hi Paul

How I envy you! Just got back from camping and brought my 6" EQ reflector expecting dark skies. We got all fogged in and came back early! ( but still had a good time camping: Making fires and eating lots of food!)

Just downloaded the lot of them: Inspiring to say the least! Each piece is slightly different, but they blend well together. I hear M42 now and then as well.Going to put all of these on a CD and listen while sky observing myself ...in my own backyard!

I also posted about them on a Yahoo Astronomy forum I belong to...as it was a revelant subject!

Thanks for some great pieces.

Thanks all!!
Thanks Very Much!!

I am back from my Holiday which unfortunately ended with a Very Sad Moment.

On Friday Aug 6th in the morning, after waking up, I let my Dogs out of the Trailer.

My Dog Scooter Girl of 7 years had a bad habit of Chasing cars. As I was cooking up some Breakfast in the trailer a Truck came by and she Ran right under the wheel and Died instantly in front of my wife and I.

Saddest day of my Life so far.
Our Hearts are Broken.
Life will never be the same... It is now Monday and we still are in extreme shock.

She is up there with the Meteors Now.

Love to Her !!!
Paul
