I was never a huge David Bowie fan, but he was one of the most brilliant acts of our time. To push the boundaries of art & thought is one of the greatest things to achieve in life.

Listened to a lot of Bowie today... it struck me once again how huge and varied his output was in the 70s. Lesser artists could make a career out of just one of his albums, and he just tossed them out like there was no tomorrow. If I had to compile a list of "greatest Bowie songs", three hours wouldn't be enough.

Drank an Ardbeg with a friend tonight... here's to you, David.

it's incredible, innit?! i considered myself an bowie afficionado (sp?) but discovered new songs today which blew me away (via bbc6 boradcast)...he truly was one of a kind.
