Hey Theo,

I think you're confusing "dedicated mix busses" with busses. You can have as many busses as you want. Harrison provides 8 "dedicated" busses with that particualr dsp and metering arrangement, but you can create and use as many busses as you want. The core daw, Ardour, has unlimted busses, and every mixer channel still has the other Harrison dsp on it.

In this case, Harrison limits you to 8 busses with that particular dsp arrangement, and 8 dedicated sends to them, that's all, that has nothing to do with how many busses (bus channels) you can create and use.

In other words, just like every other daw except that it - also - has 8 dedicated busses.

No biggie. Every mixer channel still has dedicated Harrison dsp but the 8 dedicated "mix busses" dsp (+ the master bus) is a little bit of a different arrangement.

If I'm seeing correctly, it's 59 bucks right now for Namm and 25% the FX.

I dunno. Great price, looks to have significant value. But not sure if once I reinstall all my vst's if I'll get into that "trap" I used to be in.

Why is this troll continuously allowed to do that? do harrison have some sort of kvr exemption? I am going to report him once and for all. Every single one of his posts are in hosts, advertising then disappearing and not answering a SINGLE question. it's just rude.

Now, now, Theo. We all know that every one of us here at KVR are special. It is just that some members and firms are more special.

It looks like there is a "bounce" but a quick look at the manual seems to indicate you will not be able to get FX (bad for trying to save CPU use with sims) and not sure I understand "export" yet.

W/o a demo, this is difficult to understand.
