I gotta admit that MiniLogue looks a lot better on paper than MiniLog, the latter is more for selling small pieces of firewood

I winder if they will be able to make the 3.5mm jack sync socket CV/Gate capable like they did with the Monotribe (with a firmware update)
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Bonners Music UK, £430, free shipping. Should arrive by the end of the month if not sooner. There's been a bit of a rush on them
One thing that really tipped the boat for me was the analog waveshaping on the triangle and sawtooth waveforms. So now the "Pulsewidth" knob isn't useless on these waveforms, on the triangle it folds the wave back gradually, and on the sawtooth it sort of bends the polarity of an increasing portion of the wave until you're left with a wave that looks like a mixture of square and triangle. Of course, the most interesting waves are the inbetween ones.
(no stupid crossfading between two waves here!)
Honestly, I'm sick of static triangle and sawtooth waveforms. On top of that you have sync, ringmod, FM, noise, hp/lp filters (hp non resonant, but still very useful), and just so many features. And it looks really well built.
They knocked it out of the park on this one, IMO.

Agreed, it's a cool feature. I think a big part of what makes great synths like the Minimoog and MS20 sound the way they do is the saturation that softens and squares off their oscillators, which this simulates.Sendy wrote:One thing that really tipped the boat for me was the analog waveshaping on the triangle and sawtooth waveforms. $999AUD is the retail (info direct from Korg Australia) and a couple of online stores have it listed at that price.
StoreDJ has it listed at $899, but stock isn't expected until the beginning of next month.
