MIDI Automapping in Ableton (AKAI MIDIMIX)

hi, i got a new MIDI controller the Akai MIDIMIX and for how simple it could look, i couldn't work out how to properly set it up. I downloaded the script and place it in the right folder, now i can select the control surface in the ableton preferences and set up input and outputs to be remote track and sync active. at this point the mute buttons will light when touched but then not unlight, i can configure any button/fader/know to anything i want in ableton, but i cant use preconfigured midi mapping, stopping me from using the change bank button or to actually see lighting up what channel im playing or any other controller features whatsoever. SUGGESTIONS??

I have exactly the same problem. It works well one way -i.e. I can change the controllers in Ableton with Launchpad and it is reflected in the MIDImix lights, but the MIDImix controllers seem to be mapped to random stuff by default. HELP!
