I wonder how these guys feel about their name being filched

You know you want it!

Is it your first polyphonic analog synth, or do you already have some bigger, more expensive poly analog with more polyphony and wider range of features ?
Anyone ?

OK then another question:
Can you record 2 seconds of notes C3, C4, C5, C6, 1 saw oscillator and no other sound source, filter fully open, no effects, no unison, 24 bit WAV ?

when checking out the Minilogue YT videos today and saw the triangle bend like that, I thought to myself: oh boy, Sendy would love this! :D

Got a great deal on the Rode iXY so ordered that instead 2 days ago, but I can't wait to start saving for this synth! :hyper: I really hope that it won't have noise problems (like people complained with some batches of the MS-20 mini) and what-not other "invisible" things like that
Haha, yeah. You know it! That was actually the feature I learned about last. I was already considering getting the synth because it sounds and looks freaking beautiful, but when I saw that little waveform curling around on that tiny screen... analog waveshaping... buhhhhh.... wallet prolapse!! HELP!

I'll post some audios when mine turns up, including the noise floor. Don't mind a bit of noise myself, but I guess it depends exactly how much of it there is, compared to the signal. Like the... ratio or something. The ratio of the noise to the signal. The... Oh, what's it called? :hihi:

Incidentally, I'm calling mine Kylie 8)

That's exactly what mean, I read it as rhyming with the proper pronouciation of Moog, rather than log.

Mini log sounds shit

Indeed dropping a Mini Log sounds like a euphemism for having a small poo.
Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

It looks like it was built with SynthEdit :P

S/N or SNR of modern analogs is usually between 80dB and 60dB, most old analogs around 60dB.

Amazing Synth but not sure if i actually have a use for it? I have watched the videos and some tutorials and it sounds lovely especially at that price! Being a complete beginner to hardware synths (my only hardware i ever owned was a ASR10) i wanted to ask some of you your opinions on if this synth would fit into the current Metro Boomin saturated trap/hip hop scene? I also like to make Grime beats.

I was going to be buying a synth audio unit but this looks like i would be more "experimental" as its hands on.

Again, do you synth experts think it would fit into the genres i enjoy?

Thanks!!!

Given the Minilogue's Cross Mod, Ring Mod, and Waveshapper functions, I think you could coax some really aggressive, but still organic, sounds out of the Minilogue that would fit well with the styles you mention.
Matrix-1000, MicroWave with Access programmer, MicroWave II, MKS-50 with MidiClub programmer, MKS-70, MKS-80 with Kiwi Patch Editor, Nord 2 Rack, Nord 3 Rack, Prophet REV2 module, Pulse 2, Shruthi, Virus TI

Well, let's just wait until the dust settles from NAMM and see what else is announced.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

I hear you!

Still, at the asking price and at the size, it's very tempting... it would (will?) also make for a very nice synth for "playing out".
