ValhallaÜberMod started off as ValhallaChorus. The low level C++ files are still called "ValhallaChorus." The delay abilities came later in the dev process.

I REALLY like the Sandman GUI, BTW. :D

Thanks, Sean! That really means a lot coming from you. G8 and Sandman's interfaces were primarily inspired by your plug-ins and Reza Ali's UI libraries for Cinder and Open Frameworks (I also really like the Madrona Labs interfaces). We wanted them to look great on every display, and to work well on touch-enabled devices. They're very different from the metal-and-knobs interfaces that are typically on plug-ins, so I'm still receiving one or two angry e-mails a week >_<

Plugin Alliance has free 30-day demos on everything. Let me know if you have trouble getting that set up.
Really? It says 14 days right at the bottom of the page:

Am I not reading or correctly?

Whoops. No, you're right. I'm a little bit sleep deprived at the moment, as my wife and I are training a puppy.

Oooooo! I just bought Sandman + BlueChorus today in the Plugin Alliance sale; and here is the developer, chatting with us right here on KVR. Gotta love this place! :tu: :phones:

Thanks for the purchase! I hope that you enjoy it.

Missed out on this pre-PA move, but just bought the Sandman/chorus combo on sale, too.

You've got part of the Publison DHM 89 B2/KB2000 duo plus erbeness in there, but it's its own deal for sure.

The bx bluechorus is nicer than I expected as well, for anyone interested in getting in on the last of the sale.

Glad to have this UA in our PA stable now.

i bought when it first came out, I see that there has been a re-write of the whole plug. should I just download the latest version from your downloads page? I can't even remember what the process was for authorizing my license: serial number, secure download link,...

like the plug though.

Curious about this:
Sandman blends many time-manipulation paradigms into one inviting interface, giving you the ability to use it as ... a wavetable oscillator
How is that implemented?

Hi Michael,

Plugin Alliance should have sent you an e-mail to the account that you used for purchasing Sandman originally. If not, send us an email at contact@unfilteredaudio and we will get you sorted.

Much appreciated! That's actually the second comparison to the Publison that we've received. Hopefully I'll get a chance to use one at some point. I've also heard favorable comparisons to old Boss delays when using lower sampling rates.

Change the start and end times to something extremely low and turn off the click-removal algorithm. You can manipulate the start and end points simultaneously to scan the table, and you can change the sampling rate to control the pitch.

Is there a way to resize the UI?

@Michael, great work, lovely features and for what its worth, lovely UI (so tell them to stop with the angry mail). The default size of the UI is my only complaint as it is too small on my native resolution (2K). I'm growing accustomed to zooming in when needed, and otherwise will adjust parameters via Push so it of course didn't stop me from purchasing.

Bought this when it came out and the gate (does more than a mere gate) they sell. Both are great plugs! Built for creativity!
Stuck in Aperture Laboratories for a 2nd time!

Thanks! I'm really happy that you like G8. It was a big labor of love. I actually use it a lot for its AM/Granular/Pulsar synthesis capabilities. I like to think of it as an "amplitude workstation". Kind of the opposite design process from Sandman, as it was more "How can we make this even wilder?".

Great feature request. No, there's unfortunately not a way to resize it. I've been using a 1080p Windows computer and a Retina MacBook, so it wasn't a problem we ran up against during design/implementation. Conveniently, all of our interfaces are vector/procedural, so it's something that can be done without too much hassle. The main issue with implementing it at the moment is actually the modulation panels, since the plug-in window has two separate aspect ratios.

We're considering standardizing our interfaces (i.e. picking one font and one design language, then sticking with it) for all future plug-ins, so it's something we should implement sooner rather than later.

Also, thanks for the purchase! :tu:
