Question about harmonizing a melody

Hi all,

I just made my first attempt to import and harmonize a melody. But there's something I don't understand: I do get a nice chord-progression, so that's ok. But the process also changes the melody itself - which I wanted to stay as it is! What am I doing wrong?

keep the Melody : Absolute form ... so do not allow to convert Relative form
