Copy Protection is Serial Number so installing it on several machines should be a possibility
Ok great. I'll buy it tomorrow then. I also noticed a CZ synth in iOS by Casio itself! It seems the PC/Mac platforms are scary for some companies!
Anyway, Virtual CZ has a distinctive character and very close to the original :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I didn't know that, interesting

It costs almost as much as VirtualCZ now during the VST Buzz sale though

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cz-app- ... &ls=1&mt=8

The last 15 months has thus been good for the CZ affecinados looking for software replacements, a lot more choices than was before

Sep 2014: VirtualCZ
Jan 2015: iCZ
Dec 2015: CAMEO

And there are golden oldies CZynthia and PhadiZ by AlgoMusic, and PlatiCZ by reFX

Post

well if your comparing during sale times the cz ios app was 10$ just a few weeks ago. Im still holding out for another sale which will inevitably come soon enough as almost all ios apps go on sale every few months

May have to jump on this one though, always wanted plasticz but its just so old at this point I could never pull the trigger even though I loved the sound

Post

PlastiCZ is discontinued by reFX I think

CZynthia on the other hand is liberated by AlgoMusic, it can be had for free now :)

VirtualCZ for the DAW, Casio CZ app for the fingers... ;)

I'm waiting also some discount on it in apple apps besides some other synths.
I use my keyboard with the iPad as I bought the camera kit and it works really fine without any noticeable latency (playing the keys). Connecting the audio output to the audio interface and could use it in the DAW as external hardware.

The thing buzzled me is why Casio insist in including their crap hex synth in their flagship products instead of a CZ synth!! I have their hex synth in my PX-5S Previa and I always wonder how it would be great to have a CZ synth instead of this!

When it comes to Casio, what happened to the XWP1 and its brother?

Going down like a led zeppelin...

27.99 EUR + VAT (means ie. 34.43 EUR for me) ...

VAT sux, but even with VAT, this is the best offer for buying Virtual CZ yet

I think they are still selling them in the stores. I was very excited at first when they announced a new synth. I thought it would be like FZ-1 or VZ-1, but ... :dog:

Anyway, I've just bought VirtualCZ :D Thanks for the notice :)

Change your country [hint]

Well, that was certainly a no-brainer.

As a Casio emulation this synth will probably stay under the radar for a lot of people, but I played a CZ-101 in the 80s and it was not only versatile but cut through everything and was surprisingly reliable as a go-to when you were stuck for something useful, as opposed to that huge Oberheim pad that sounded great in when you patched it in your basement but was mush live with the band (I know - I made lots of those).

No one got too exited about getting a CZ but it stuck around and got the most use.

It was the Toyota Corolla of synths. :D

I like it but can see why the kids won't.
Doesn't have any currently trendy patches and far too complex for an ADHD brain to fosus on ;)

I have a VZ rack which is noisy, I actually miss that noise from this Emu!
