I really don't see how this could be anything else than - as I said before - an automated and permanent version of what you can do in Reaper manually with exactly 4 mouse-clicks whenever you want to and which you can also undo with further 4 clicks whenever you want to - i.e. you can experiment at free will without ever having to re-load the plugin (and hence lose other settings you might have made).I'll have to do some testing with a DAW that allows "mono" instances
I don't think it can be different than that as if the plugin is stereo, then it is stereo - there's no way the host could magically re-write the plugin into a mono-version.
