Hi guys,
I am newbie when it comes to EnergyXT and currently in process of looking for my new sequencer (host). Right now, I am intersted in Tracktion and EnergyXT but cant make my mind.
One thing that is important for me is support for loops (think Sonar). I would like to drag'n drop a loop (usually drum loop) in sequencer and than it automatically get sliced and adjusted to host tempo. Of course, when tempo is changing loops follow to host. I dont need fancy features like Phatmatic Pro has. Just slicing and syncing to host tempo would be cool enough. Typical time stretching doesnt sound good for drum loops and it eats a lot of CPU. Slicing is much more effective and much better sounding.
What about Energy XT in that regard. Is it implemented and if not, is it on to-do list?
Thanks alot
Support for loops

there was talk about it along while back, but it's been forgotten amongst all the new feature requests
the idea was to be able to add a loop in the Audio Part and be able to slice it automatically and then play each slice from a different midi key.
Simon I can you add this FR if it's not already there?
PS it might be a feature of the upcoming Sampler component which Jorgen has been working on... Jorgen?
