I can't get this to work in Ableton Live. I put it on a track and route another track to MMorphs sidechain but I'm only hearing the main input... Any ideas?
Thank you!
In the other thread it was mentioned, that side-chaining in Live is broken.

The AU version doesn't sidechain but the VST version does.

I see, thanks.

works fine in logic though.

Here is another - slightly meditative - experiment, this time morphing two Phonem sounds with each other, one being a robotic voice loop, the other one being a pad-like texture with slowly shifting harmonics. I used all 4 LFOs in MMorph to modulate “Morphing Curve B“, assigning numerous x/y-point-values, curve shape and smoothing parameters, this makes for ever evolving, interesting sounds.

Very nice!

This one morphs a female vocal phrase (from Granular Worlds) with a solo violin, 3 passes, the first pass is unison, the second pass the violin plays an octave lower, the 3rd pass the violin plays 5 semitones below the vocal line. In the lower registers this sounds like a bassoon, quite lovely...

This didn't get fixed in the 9.16 update.
You mean that its Melda's sidechaining that is broken, right?
Tried with other plugins in Live and their side-chaining works.

Nope, it's Live... The plugins provide 8 channels for surround processing, Live cannot cope with that. Reported, hopefully they will fix it. For now you can use VST, it works there as VST doesn't report 8in8out unless explicitly activated surround.

Thanks for the clarification. I have been using the VST, just prefer to only use AU in general so hope they get it fixed.
And hey Vojtec and Co. this thing is so amazing! Made a great track with it so I bought it today.
Really Appreciated! :tu:

A few moths later I made a track out of this experiment, 5 instances of MMorph are used in this version, morphing a lot with a lot and morphed signals with each other too:

I'm kind of surprised this plugin doesn't get more attention. Are there other good spectral morph VSTs out there, or is morphing just generally not something people are interested in?

Well there is Zynaptiq Morph as the only alternative for real-time audio morphing, it morphs in both directions using an x/y-pad (in Meldas Morph you can only flip modulator/carrier), sounds different, is more pricey and has no modulation system on board. Both are good for what they want to be. The spectral morphing in Alchemy 2 can be quite spectacular (but it's not real time), then there is the standalone system Kyma which I don't know, there is SpectrumWorx which can also produce interesting results.
