I'm pretty sure I did that

What is weird now, is that when I for example load Harmless in an instrument channel, the patches get an added CamelSpace description like "Neo-Retro 4 GOL (CamelSpace)", same thing in Sytrus "2-steppa (CamelSpace)" :o

Slightly OT - but how's the OSX version coming along? :tu:

Strange. I would try rebuilding your plug-in database first via the Plug-in Manager with Verify selected.

and now for the nit pickiest of nit picky feature requests:

can we please have a 3 way auto scroll toggle switch?

off/on(standard jumpy)/centered (shift+0)?

it bugs the crap outta me that i cant just turn the centered auto scroll on without having to hold keys down.

or is this one of those times where i just dont know how to do something thats super basic?

The Master Pitch fader is WEIRD.

Holding down 'ctrl' while manually shifting the Master Pitch gives you precise control, which is good. But when I RIght Click and choose 'Type in value' ... and let's say I type in "-200" (ie: I want to set it to -200 cents, or 1 step downtuned), it jumps down to -1200.

Infact... if I manually set it to -200 cents, then Right Click and choose 'Type in Value'... it says that the -200 cents value is actually 0.416671752929687 on the control

Why does the Master Pitch use 2 totally unrelated sets of values?

The default pitch is "0.5".... what on Earth does 0.5 mean to anyone in musical terms? It should use cents and only cents. Default should be 0 cents, then you go + or - from there. And being able to notch or detent it at 100 cent intervals would be nice. It's very rarely (never) that i'd need to pitch a track 97 cents... it's 100 or it'll go out of tune with the people I send my track layers to.

This is because the actual number in memory of the computer is within a range of 0-1. Yes, it is a workflow disaster :hihi:

Did that, I also upgraded to latest FL Studio version 12.2 and installed CamelSpace 64 bit, to see if that worked better than the 32 bit

But still the same problem persists, so looks like CamelSpace is dead for (my) FL Studio then :(

I think you need to do a full rescan of the plugins. Don't do a quick scan. Do a full scan. Verify plugins ticked. Rescan verified plugins ticked (I think that is what it's called), Scan plugins with errors ticked, etc...

I use all 64 bit Camel Audio plugins in the latest official Fl Studio 12 release (64 bit), on Windows 7 64bit

CamelSpace works fine in FL 12.2 for me

Seriously, the plugin quick scan is more trouble than it's worth. I just go straight to Manage Plugins and scan/combine/verify from there with one click. It auto detects if new VSTs are Generators oe Effects. You simply check the box next to their names and they appear in their respective Effect/Generator menu list. No guesswork involved.

The quick scan is really only for clicking and dragging a plugin into your project straight away, not for permanent VST management.

I will tinker with it, to see if I can get it to work, good to see other users reporting they are getting it to work.

I had another problem with MemoryMoon ME80 v2 (64bit), I needed to uncheck verify plugin option in order to being able to load that up.

Works fine, so dunno why it couldn't be verified?

Edit: It now works for me too :phew:

A restart or a rescan, led to the 64 bit version appearing in the selection window

But I must admit I prefer how plugin management was handled in FL Studio 11, in 12 it has become cumbersome

Post

There is an annoying bug in FL Studio 12.2 when handling plugs.

When I have installed a new VST instrument and go to Add->Channel->More Plugins do a rescan and tick the new synth to be added to the list, the synth doesn't just get added to the instrument list it also get added to the list of Effects :x

I installed Prisma for example, but uninstalled because it didn't work properly.

I added it to the synth list. It seems it also got added to the list of Effects, by default.

But even though I have rescanned the plug cache after uninstalling, it is still stuck on the list of Effects

I also had installed MFX-Magma demo, but uninstalled it. That is also stuck in the Effects list. It seems as I didn't untick it on the list before uninstalling, it gets stuck

Please fix these bugs Image Line
