Fellow Berlin/Brandenburg (Germany) local KVRians:
To those interested, there will be a guided tour at the BSTB (short for Berliner Stadtbibliothek) this coming Thursday at 5pm GMT+1.
It'll be about phonograph wax cylinders, shellac and vinyl records from various eras of music. According to the official info about this guided tour, it's "for fans of historic sound storage mediums and vinyl".
Due to limited spots on this tour, the library requests a registration that you can either do via phone or mail. More info (in German - they did not translate it into English) can be found here:

Personally, I plan to be there. Old recording mediums both interest and fascinate me. And it's a real pity, that I did not find a (dedicated) audio/recording/broadcast related museum in Berlin (Germany) where I could waste hours on end in there - at least not yet.
I could definitely think of doing a meetup during/after this event as well.
The BSTB is nearby the Alexanderplatz (actually on the "Fischerinsel"), and there are plenty of possibilities after the tour to find a restaurant for a drink and/or a snack, do some general small talk. What do you think?!
Anyway - I hope this is of interest for you.
Maybe see you at this tour!

A small update...
I just got note that the guided tour is fully booked and there are no spaces left.
So if you were lucky to still get on board, please enjoy the tour. However, I also asked if it's maybe possible to do a separate tour for interested people (musicians/audio engineers - Berlin/Brandenburg local) and my request has being forwarded. They'll think about this. And maybe this way, a small group could do the tour after all.
I try to keep you updated.
