Depends on how many bugs are found. Usually a month or so per subversion.

So what has been the typical Komplete upgrade price?
I have K8 and skipped K9 and K10 but will get K11.

Would have gotten K10.5 if it was released and it included Reaktor 6.

I would love for NI to add a ring modulator, a proper tape echo type effect and some kind of paraphonic emulation. I wonder if paraphonic type sounds are even possible with samples? Is it the single filter that gives that sort of sound or is it the divide down oscillators that create it, or both?
Imagine if they could add a Filter like the filter Import from Tone2 Rayblaster.

It's the more than one voice -> single filter/amplifier that makes up paraphony. Won't happen for Kontakt, or any other sampler, I'm fairly certain.

I hope one of the main updates of K6 will not be "NKS compatability", that it will be tailor made for use with the new Komplete controllers

The good thing about K5 is it's openness, it K6 get tied closer to a controller like some kind of hybrid, that openness will be lost

Kontakt already has those things, that was a part of 5.4 with snapshots and new virtual keyboard colors, and some other related KSP improvements.

That's a pity.
Hopefully the Kontakt effects will get a revamp. A lovely Roland type tape space echo effect would be great.

Current effects won't be changed (compatibility reasons). However, new effects, that can always happen (as it did during K5 cycle, too)...

What would be cool is if Kontakt 6 would get some Blox like Reaktor that quickly could be linked up to a sample or multisample loaded into Kontakt.

All that is hid behind the hood now, but if effects and other sample shaping functions could be added via own dedicated GUI blocks into the Kontakt interface would make it much more hands on
