No batch conversions but thats the only downside I've found (use the 'all download links' option)

Winamp also does this easily with a built-in plugin, DiskWriter. See:

I usually upload it in Cubase 5.1's audio-pool and let that convert; probably the long way, but it works for me.

LAMEDrop, just as OggDrop, does pretty much all back and forth compression and is very small.

google it up! nice gadget they both are.
