DOTD - Figment's Park - Synth Sound

I was watching DOTD last week and I'm just curious on how this synth sound was done, i've tried recreating it a few ways, most successfully with Vurt's Gargoyle synth. There's some wacky 'bubbly' LFO things going on, not to mention some phasing. I'm guessing the synth in question would be a Minimoog, as the majority of the Dawn of the Dead soundtrack comprises of it. Anyone have any ideas just on the basic principles of recreating these sort of sounds?
