Uh ? You make me meschuggaPi-e wrote:Hi Omkar,
with Alt+drag it exports the musicloop not the midi, i just want the midi clip..
I assume you are on pc, then first press alt and then drag the midi file,
that combination "exports" the raw data.
If you don`t press alt in the first place then S1 creates a music loop,
but even the music loop contains the midi data and can be used (right click ... open content).
Did you check your short cuts ?
Maybe you have changed or replaced something there.
Lemme know.

Not near my machine but i thought those drag to browser tooltip menu toggles for the audio or midi drag and drop options were with the CTL mod (on Windows).
You'll see the options on hovering before dropping, in the tooltip, little checkboxes. Drag and hover over the file system in the browser then while holding it there, tap CTL (I think) to toggle the check / option for the export before letting the mouse button go.
Audio does the same thing but the two options are pre or post effects.

Both the Ctrl and Alt keys toggle between Music Loop and MIDI in my Windows version of Studio One.

You're correct. CTL is the mod they say to use for it but I tried it and it actually works with all 3 of them, it toggles with Shift also.garryknight wrote:Both the Ctrl and Alt keys toggle between Music Loop and MIDI in my Windows version of Studio One.
Cool, thanks for the heads up.

Hmmm... I didn't think of trying Shift. Probably because no one mentioned it
