https://prpage.co/Drn/+42213/

The Prize Bundle Consists Of: wrote:One Novation Circuit
The source of your rhythm, beats, and digital polyphonic Nova synth lines. Start something here.

One Novation Bass Station II
A monophonic side-order of analogue dirt, grit, filth, fuzz, noise and sub-destroying bass.

One Focusrite Scarlett 6i6
In case you want to save some of your jams for later, Scarlett 6i6 has all the ins and outs you need to get started, and can be expanded with another 8 inputs if you decide to grow your new setup later. Once set up, Scarlett 6i6 works standalone too, so you won't even need to turn your laptop on to make some noise.

Two KRK Rockit 5 Monitors
It's no use having all that gear if you can't hear it. Put the headphones down and step away from the laptop output jack, these 5" powered monitors - a standard these days - will let you hear detail you never thought possible

Its one of those links where the poster gets more points by sharing.

Let the spam fest begin! :hihi:

For those interested in the competition without giving the OP extra points, just head to the novation website and sign up there. :tu:

that's quite a bitter point of view. why you would want to begrudge someone like this is beyond me - especially if they are bringing the competition to your attention in the first place. but yes, by all means, enter the competition in anyway you see fit. god forbid anyone else should have their chances of winning marginally increased in the process, of course.

no idea ? that would still be peanuts compared to the soundtoys numbers ... i think they were generating absolutely massive amounts of interest ...I guess because you got a free plugin just for entering.

I posted info about the competition on Friday in the Bargain discussion thread, and I didn't post a link to my entry, just directly to compo

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... tart=10134

I thought affiliate links was not allowed at KVR ?

at any rate, whether you posted this info in the bargain thread or not, does not mean you might be the individual who brings it to anothers attention. whether it is you, or me, or the boogeyman ... I don't get Vortex's begrudgery ... why begrudge the source of the info, other than some kind of inner malignancy ?

Post

I think that it can at least be agreed that it's hardly altruistic to link to something via a mechanism that benefits your own chances, even if that is the intention of the competition in the first place...

Sorry man, it's bad taste to not be open about it. When people offer their link but also offer the naked link and just say "use my link to improve my chances", then I will always give them the boost. But, if they don't come out and say it, I never do, and like VORT3X, I'll point out what's going on as well.

Post

pointing it out is not what I took issue with ... but by all means, proceed in the competition as you please, and if that means begrudging the messenger in the process that's A-OK too if that's what you feel is right.

are you talking about Novation here ? or any participant who shares their link ?

I mean, if we're going to take some kind of phoney moral high ground ... maybe we should abstain from taking part at all - since Novation are clearly only offering this modest bundle for the purposes of self-promotion - alot cheaper than paying for a month's worth of advertising with this kind of penetration, certainly.

evil novation. evil spammy participants. but do gimme free stuff.
