hi i always want to know how much cpu a plugin uses :)
sometimes a plugin can use a lot but this way you know what plugin it is :)
and you can replace it with one that doesn`t :)

Odo.

and what does asio ? i have a lot of problems with asio4all :( or is it just synthedit plugins :)

totally agree with odo (you wanna see your monster unknow at the top of the cpu charts héhé? wtf I love your synths!), +1 vote for this feature!!

At least some more resolution for the CPU-display - I mean, make it wider for crying out loud
%-numbers would be good too.

Yes, it would be ideal to see how much CPU % is used per plugin in a seperate window. Maybe an internal CPU module ?

Odo,

See http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/qguide.php?language=en for an explanation on ASIO...

I have run asio4all for 2 months, works perfectly, also with your excellent Synthedit plugins, however you need to experiment a lot with the settings inside asio4all and with the buffer-size value in the eXT setup.

If you have a SoundBlaster card with an EMU chipset, then it is wise to uninstall asio4all and install the KXdrivers. KXdrivers are much better.

i also wouldn't say no to such a feature , since it could help a lot to decide which plugin actually could be freezed to save cpu time.
it would also be interesting if you could do away some prejudices about synthedit plugins and their cpu consumption.
