Indeed. I hope they do this sooner or later.raymondwave wrote:But yeah, not the same thing exactly. I wouldn't mind if the filters were available in the fx chain too.

The skin on this synth is very amateur and unprofessional.
Looks like SynthEdit.
Everything about it is cheap looking, even the fonts. It reminds me of how plugins looked in the year 2001.

First you are wrong with cour claims about the skin and second why did you start a new thread with exactly the same post?secret_man wrote:The skin on this synth is very amateur and unprofessional.

i agree though that dune's skin isn't the most good looking to my taste, but nothing unprofessional in there, wonderfully intuitive instrument when it comes to sound design !

I think the factory skin is UGLY and the different colors do nothing to change that impression. But there are some really nice (free) 3rd party skins out there.

Not even man. I've resorted to using the original skin I just wish someone could hook this synth up.e@rs wrote:But there are some really nice (free) 3rd party skins out there.

I really love both the sound and factory skin and colours. Yesterday I was playing around with it and two hours seemed like two minutes. Dune 2 is from my best synths I ever purchased. It's also easy to make the sounds I need. For me it's the perfect synth
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

4-FM operators would be great in Dune 3

Certain 4op configs are already possible in D2, e.g., the last 4 of the TX81Z. Even some 6op configs are possible. Furthermore, due to D2's architecture, you can go even furtherEnGee wrote:4-FM operators would be great in Dune 3

Oh! Do you mean for example like this:cytospur wrote:Certain 4op configs are already possible in D2, e.g., the last 4 of the TX81Z. Even some 6op configs are possible. Furthermore, due to D2's architecture, you can go even furtherEnGee wrote:4-FM operators would be great in Dune 3
Osc 1 FM
Osc 2 FM (whatever algorithm)
Then in modulation matrix I choose Osc 1 as resource and the destination like Osc 2 FM AMT A (for example)?
So, in this case I connect the two oscilators creating 4 to 6 Op FM. That gives many possibilities if I understood it right
