This is what happens when I cram into the last week... updated my track a bit to fix some parts I didn't like the flow of. All the info is the same as posted here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9#p6373719 . If you already listened, chances are this won't change your opinion of it.

Here is my entry:
https://soundcloud.com/garychambers12/planetary-ai
Only about a minute. All I had time for.
19 instances of Mpowersynth.
Done in Logic Pro X.
No effects used except for Logic's built in eq on one track to roll off some of the bass.

Here's a track that I don't think I'll enter but will post it here in case anyone is interested. It's in fact 2 tracks merged into one. All with melda and free fx of course.

After skipping last month, I am submitting herewith my entry for this month.
Track Name: Adbhutam (M-azement)
Creative Details: Adbhutam means "Amazement”. It is an Sanskrit language word.
"Adbhutam" is one of "Rasa" defined in Indian Dramatic Theory. There are total nine Rasas are mentioned in it. So all of them together are known as "NAV-RASA". Literal meaning of Rasa is "Juice" or "Essense" and "NAV" means 9. Rasa can be understood as "Mental State" or "Emotional Theme". So...my attempt for this track is to make listener feel "Amazement" by its tune.
I have not yet mastered art of music production. So there may be some problem in execution of thought.
I have spent only one night for this track because I was busy whole this month. I attempted this syntu because I did not want to skip one more month.
So here it is:
https://soundcloud.com/dee-p-tree/deept ... -m-azement
Technical Details:
DAW: FL Studio
NO. OF instances: about 19
All sounds are factory presets because I did not have much time for sound design.
FX: Most of FX used are DAW inbult ones for example... Parametric EQ2, delay, soundhoodizer, reverb, compressor.
External fx: loudmax, TAL reverb 4, TDR NoVa.
This is most simple project for me in OSC, rather any time.
I hope participants can relate to the track.
One more thing... I would like to mention here that.. With this track I have changed my workflow drastically. I used to spend most of time in sound design, similar to actual instruments.
This track is more "synth-y", now. It was created in "flow" within 7-8 hours of a night.
Let me know.. How good or bad I have done with my work flow.
Thank you.

Here is my revised submission. Oh well, got the revision in on the Soundcloud page but missed the frigging deadline by one minute posting this announcement. Anyway, bumped up the level and added a couple of things. If this revised version doesnt make the cut its ok.... at least I fixed it to my satisfaction....

So yeah...tried to get this in last night but was so nauseous I had to go to bed....If you will accept it, great, if not, no worries.
It was a fun learning experience either way.

This track uses 12 instances of MPS with some light compression via MJUCjr, D1A2 (Klanghelm), and on one sound I tried a light touch of Ambience reverb and Mstereowidener and MAutopan, but I could well have left them off, it didn't do much. Woulda if I had more time to go edit it again. let me see, there was one instance of Fruity EQ and 2 or 3 of the Fruity Limiter, including a mild sidechain on the bassline. That is all.
Overall I really liked this synth, but the the biggest issue is trying to figure out where a particular modulation is coming from if you are trying to change up a preset. Would be awesome if there was a mod matrix or something showing all the applied effects...
EDIT: My last statement sounds a bit odd, as there is a huge matrix for effects, I meant like saturation and such that can be applied all over the place, or some of the mods like LFOs were hard to find sometimes. That is all.

Here is my track " Ancient Future" under my alias Touch The Universe Productions. It's another super mega mix
In fact, it's about 3 songs rolled into one. I'd feel bad if I didn't include everything I worked on and it will be a good idea for me to keep track of everything if I just roll it all into one, when it comes time to do a proper remix of it. Nevertheless, this is a competition, going against the basic etiqutte track length wise will hurt when it comes to scoring, but I'd just like to share the mix anyway for fun
Hope some of you enjoy it
Peace and much respect,
Tim

Updated my patches for MPowerSynth :
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/mpowers ... /downloads
now includes about 100 patches, and includes all those used for my entry this month
Really enjoyed playing with this synth, despite the learning curve.
Highlights are:-
awesome oscillator and LFO wave shaping ability
insane modulation capability
and the effects section - what is not in there?
not to mention the randomisation, preset saving and copy and paste functionality everywhere.
On the other hand...
the filters are a bit tough to get my head around
velocity and key tracking are obscure and difficult to apply.
workflow-wise it can be difficult with all those windows and nested functions.
However, there's bound to be issues like these with such a powerful synth, just need more time.
Overall score - Awesome, I Want One

Well, this is what happens when the folks here get a hold of a really amazing synth. I've listened to just 5 tracks so far and what I'm hearing is nothing short of inspirational.
This is going to be one tough voting session.
