Hi, I've decided I want to get an RME interface. The best deal I can get within my price range (under £300 ($430) will decide the type of connection I need, please include PCI connections...

The HDSP 9632/9652 is probably the only thing you'll find within your budget. I sold my RME Digi96/8 PST for just 50 euros a few months ago. If you're not opposed to 2nd hand you might be able to pick up an older model within your price range.

Drivers are still being updated and the best you'll see in that price bracket, latency is great, converters are getting a bit long in the tooth now but still hold up against most things at the price point.
I've got a KA6, UAC2 and RME 9632 sat in my own studio, the RME is still my go to at this point.

You can pick up the Multiface secondhand for well under that price.
The cardbus works fine with a PCI adapter, that's how I use mine.
The cardbus originally cost me around Eur250 just over a decade ago.
I just bought a 2nd one as backup for £30 on ebay
