I'd like to buy some classic retro sounding preset packs for Diva, Polysix, Monark and Uno-LX.

yes, they are good. however (and i can only talk for diva), i would not rate them to be excellent and they are thus not among my favourite diva soundbanks. these would rather be the preset packs by luftrum, arksun, matt bowdler (the unfinished) and aiyn zahev. you can have a look here:treesgrassstones wrote:I'd like to buy some classic retro sounding preset packs for Diva, Polysix, Monark and Uno-LX.

I think they are excellent, especially the Omnisphere sets.treesgrassstones wrote:I'd like to buy some classic retro sounding preset packs for Diva, Polysix, Monark and Uno-LX.

They have great retro sounds for those synths also. (checkout uno-lx, diva, polysix)
Lots of sounds that end up in my music.
That is the test for me.

Sounds promising!
Ive bought two DIVA packs from luftrum but it was too much spacey stuff going on for me. Sounded great on their own, but were difficult to write music with. I want high quality, retro sounding 'bread and butter'-patches, without too much funky effects and massive reverbs, I'll add those myself to taste later.

Well, you could take a look at my Diva bank... Shaletreesgrassstones wrote:Sounds promising!

Having listened to the demos, i didn't find them to be too special tbh. Are you looking for soundsets for a specific synth?treesgrassstones wrote:Coool, was hoping that. Anyone agree/disagree?

They're great if you don't feel like making a bunch of bread and butter synth sounds yourself. If you want stuff that really makes you go "wow, I didn't know my synth could do that!" then you might want to look at stuff by Aiyn Zahev, The Unfinished, Howard Scarr, and a few others.

I could! Im just too busy/lazy. I like having a starting point and then tweaking that rather than going from scratch.V0RT3X wrote:They're great if you don't feel like making a bunch of bread and butter synth sounds yourself. Yeah, my fav vst synths are Diva, Polysix, MS-20, Monark and Uno-LX. A lot of the time I just use an old DX7, but its a nightmare to bring to shows.chk071 wrote:Having listened to the demos, i didn't find them to be too special tbh. Looking for classic retro sounds, and without too much effects. Less is more kinda patches.

Thn you're good with the Vintage Synth Pads sounds i guess, some classic stuff in there. Also check out Lotuzia's patches, although i'm not sure now if he did patches for those synths as well: http://www.lelotusbleu.fr/catalog/treesgrassstones wrote:Yeah, my fav vst synths are Diva, Polysix, MS-20, Monark and Uno-LX. For retro sounds I think they have some of the better ones, especially for the retro synths like Tal-U-No-Lx, Diva, and Arturia synths.treesgrassstones wrote:I'd like to buy some classic retro sounding preset packs for Diva, Polysix, Monark and Uno-LX.

Lots of bread and butter sounds.
I also have some of the Omnisphere presets and they are some of the best.
Good stuff...
