Yeah I was looking at other peoples entries, and discovered a hosting page that looked like it might just work... Thanx to you catz who have indirectly helped me a shit load! Oh havez a listen if yah like... THis is more 4 a personal test of the likes...

This is quite the interesting tune, on which I have a hard time putting my fingers on to say what it is that interests me so much. I loved the bass and guitars quite a lot and the song structure itself is definately saying 'don't leave me catching dust on the shelves'. Especially that organ running is cool but I think can be upped more.

I think it would be interesting to see what would happen if you'd collab with someone or allow for remixes to be made.

First goto www.websamba.com and make an account...
Once your've done that I will tell you the nitty gritty..... Alright, even better... U do that and send me the soung and yah password and stuff and I'le givez it a go...

Very cool song Schiche. Reminded me a bit of Dream Theatre in places. Pretty good mix and production as well.

Are the drums live or sampled? They are very nicely played and sound great.

About the only negative I can say is the string section doesn't fit. Maybe a synth pad in the background would be ok, but the string section cries cheese.

Yeah, I am going to contine on the strings... Try and liven them up a bit, its just that my 2ghz pc is crying for a faster hard drive, with the BASS and DRUMS taking up 2 gigz of ram alone, its really hard out..

The Drumz are real!!! All "Real Giga drums" using Kontakt instead of GIGA. With both DRY, OVERHEAD, and ROOM Mics... Very cool sample library, took me quite a while to compose all the little errors of real play and stuff... Gonna add sum drum roles!

I'm not farmiliar with what band you speak of... But thanx none the less...

So I'm guessing the bass is gigasamples too? Wow, thats such a great sounding drumkit, I may have to look for that sample cd.

Well it was a complement. Dream Theatre is prog-metal, one of the most amazing bands, technically, I've ever heard. You must check them out - but be prepared the vocalist is awful.

Tell me, how did you get a site like that... I mean are you having to pay for it and stuff!!! Yeah I've just jumped on ACID Planet today myself, havn't had a funtional website for yeara!!! So todayz a big day!!! I only just learnt how to make banners and have them goto a site.... Going to start pusing my stuff over the next few months... We have really good Student radio in New Zealand!

Very cool track! I'd like to hear more mids (esp. for the guitar, but also for the drums) and a few more lows (the bass tone) in the EQ spectrum, but it's not distractingly harsh or shrill.

Good mixing of levels, that's for sure. I can't imagine changing the levels for any of the instruments, unless changing their EQ changed their presence to a great extent.

I like the drum programming-- it sounds like you have a high-energy drummer in there just bashing the skins with a shit-eating grin on his face.

No, its free. A friend of mine owns a server, he put the site together as a favor. I just update it, which is quite easy. Its still not done - going to get my brother (3d artist) to add a bit of flair to it if he ever gets the time...
