Just like to take a second to throw up possibly the last word in this overlong thread...
Well, actually, just a big, big thanks to Pao.
After some small confusion, I got the Rhino downloaded and registered and spent wayy too much time last night messing around with it.
It's really awesome, and it fills a big vacuum I had in my synth setup, that being the "enormous shimmerring/evolving pad" thing...
I don't think I'll ever figure oyut the finer points of programming it, (Though I do wanna figure out how to load a drum loop, get it to tempo sync and run it through the synths, filters and fx like some of the presets), but it comes with 11 banks of 64 easily tweakable presets, (too early for math), so I think I'm pretty set...
Anyways, big thanks!
...and to finish off the other business...
T Willy, I dub thee Anus Moses. Arise, Sir Anus!
(After this Jerry Reed song...who else lives"in the swamp?")
Well Amos Moses was a Cajun,
He lived by himself in the swamp.
He hunted alligators for a livin,
He just knocked 'em in the head with a stump.
The Louisiana law gonna get ya Amos
It ain't legal hunting alligators down in the swamp, boy
Well everybody blames his old man,
For makin' him mean as a snake,
When Amos Moses was a boy
His daddy would use him for alligator bait.
Tie a rope around his neck, and throw him in the swamp,
Alligator bit him in a Louisiana bayou
About 45 minutes southeast of Thibodeaux, Louisiana
Lived a man named Doc Milsap and his pretty wife Hanna
hey raised up a son who could eat up his weight in groceries,
Named him after a man of the cloth,
Called him Amos Moses
Well, the folks around south Louisiana
Said Amos was a hell of a man
He could trap the biggest, the meanest alligator
And just use one hand
That's all he's got left cause an alligator bit him
Left arm gone clean up to the elbow
Well the sheriff caught wind that Amos
Was in the swamp huntin' alligator skins
So he snuck in the swamp, gonna getcha boy,
But he never come out again.
Well, I wonder where the Louisiana sheriff went to?
You can sure get lost in a Louisiana bayou!

Found it?the funny part is that you found the song, not me, in fact, never heard of it. still funny though.
...never lost it. It was big where I was from...
That being my home:the '70's.
The actual funny part is that I'm in a band that plays it these days...
But I'm no hick, dammit!
