Anyway, the EH buyer's club is currently voting on the next item,

there is an EH buyers club? oh man could that ever be a dangerous place for me to be....where is it? (oh boy, i can hear my bank account crying already. )

the price you are talking is an excellent discount. i'll have to think about that. one big catch though (other than whether i can even afford to spend the cash at all) is that im still thinking about trying to find a way to get a new envelope filter and the pigtronix pedal too. (i really dig the idea of an envelope phaser.) even if i stick to a cheeper filter, i may have to sell a few things to pull all this off.

Hey Muff Wiggler thanks for the tips with the Tube Zipper and its Tubes, I may try a swap...I think EHX might have a problem with production with new products. I jumped on a Black Finger comp the second they showed up I went thru hell getting one that worked--one of them actually gave me a huge shock when switching it!!! I mean huge heart stopping shock...The Owner of EHX Mike Mathews ended up sending me a note apologizing...anyway UGO if you havent tried the Bassballs ,,do! it is a classic, very affordable, and yes has a very Vocal quality..Bootsy Collins YES!

Oh yeah, does anyone find it interesting that we are discussing these primitive boxes on a site that is primarily about Plugins?,,,Filters are everything when it comes to my music, Its how I put a lot of movement into it, I am upgrading my PC interface to add additional is and outs so I can bring these analog boxes into my PC's environment because I am still not that satisfied with the plugin equivalent (OHM, PSP, Scuzzphut what else??) I would abandon my analog synths sooner than my collection of outboard filter boxes.....Cheers!

yeah, there is some irony in that.
but thanks to the great members here, i've found this site to be an excellent resource for all types of music/audio related questions...software based or not.

i actually only use outboard processing for some hardware synths, bass, guitar, etc. once something goes into my computer, i never send the signal back out again for processing...but i guess thats mainly because im lazy.

(OHM, PSP, Scuzzphut what else??)

antares and concrete fx have them too.
it would be nice if gmedia made a filter plugin using what they put into imposcar. those sound pretty damn good.
