:) Hello Everyone,

I had composed it earlier but couldn't upload to the server.
:) Now it is on net.
http://www.vishal.audioshot.net/Media/A_Tune.mp3

I have used all ready-made audio samples and slayer2.
I would love to get your views on this.

This isn't really good but i donn't understand what is wrong with it.

:help: Besides i'm working on a fresh song. I want some windy effects, any suggestion?

Hope I'll complete it in 2-3 days but may get delayed.
 i'll be busy with my admission process in collage.

not really my thing, but to me the tune sounds fine, it does sound a bit like an mid nineties synth demo tho.

The drums are a bit weak, maybe a bit more deviation from the kick/hat/clap/snare roll might help ? a chopped up loop might give a bit more life.

it also seems to hint at builds and breakdowns but then not actually go anywhere at times.

the mix sounds clear and clean and the sounds are ok and to me this sounds like an ok song.

can't add much more than that, i'm sure someone with more experience in this type of music will give you a few pointers.

as for "windy noises", xoxos has a plug in called "whoosh" that does swells, swirls and generally makes woosh noises. you can try that here

cheers,

steve.

Hi! Vishal,

I gave this a listen – I think the beat and percussion is good plus the use of stereo to the right and left – this gives you a gap to fill in the centre, you have the bass running up the centre but nothing else of substance really - I first thought reverb would fix this gap – but that would be a shame really – so maybe leave it as it is and add something of a higher tone in the centre sound field. In fact the sound of the woman at 1:25 or around there is the sort of tone I mean – and nearer the centre.

Cool otherwise, we are all going to have our own perceptions on this.

Best regards,

Spe3d

I guess for tips I would just try out different sounds in the different positions and let loose some FX. As it is, it's not bad really, but that magic spark is missing. I personally think it is too crowded with too many sounds; try limiting yourself to only a few.

Hey, I enjoyed this....good stuff! :)

:) Thanks mr.me for encouraging me.

:) Thanks Mystahr,
I think you are right.
I must concentrate on tune and mixing rather than
number of samples i'm mixing.

Thanks
