Sonar's vst adapter finds Rhino2 fine...and can install all banks/patches from either the rhino interface or the adapter dropdown menu...however...when I try to open the Rhino2 factory bank...from the Rhino interface I get a "invalid bank/patch format" error...when I try it from the adapter drop down...I get "invalid effect file used.." All my ancillary banks work fine...please help, I'm in the middle of a recording project...
Kind Regards
Eric

You wouldn't have tried to load a Rhino 2 bank into Rhino 1 ?

No....it was definitely and fxb called "Rhino 2.0 factory bank.fxb"...and I was trying to load it into the brand new final version of Rhino 2.0...it all works now...but it was really strange...
I ran the vst adapter, it wouldn't load in Sonar 3.1.1...so I then opened Project5 ...and inserted Rhino 2.0 there...and the bank opened fine...I then re-opened Sonar...patched in Rhino 2.0...and voila...no problem....
Very strange indeed...if this happens to anyone else...at least they'll be a record on the forum here that they can search this issue and find...a kind of resolution...

Yeah, although I dislike weirdnesses like this one - sooner or later they rear up their ugly head again
