Slowly going through all of the said posts now.
You weren't rude at all. You were merely confirming your suspicions before making a decision.

These are the older versions though. My guess is that AAX and VST3 are simply not ready yet and they are attempting (successfully or not I can't say) to fund this development.

So I assume that who purchased now, would finaly receive the plugins, whenever they're ready.

I also guess that once they are, prices will go up again...

Personally I am not someone who cares a lot about support (if I ever use support, it's at least almost always in regards to product-downloads, so for me Crysonic is the best deal ever. Some of their plugins are seriously good, bubblegum GUI aside.

The last time I purchased them (last summer, I think) I got links to the latest versions relatively quckly, If VST3 was really available, I'd purchase them in a heartbeat again for something like 30-40€.

So would we all, but they're not available.

Welcome back from Fairyland :hihi:

That's the first guess that has made any sense to me in explaining what might be going on...

Well the latest deal is 18 plugins for $18. Remember they seem to have not evolved since 2012 so I would only try to apply their plugins to older versions of your workstations. Their eq's and compressors seem to work but the specialty stuff is more miss than hit. Also take into account that at that point in tech history the operating system of choice was "XP". I was able to have success with older versions of Sonar,Harrison Mixbus, and Vegas Pro 8-10. Not very successful with anything running Win7 64bit. Tried Sonar X3 just got errors and the program was asking for a older version of "Cakewalk VST Adapter" so it could convert to a direct x platform. Keep that in mind before the pretty colors and the flashy web ads suck you in.

Hey guys, I got a question.

I've just read page after page of horror stories about this company. Should I buy this upgrade?

Thanks!

It just boggles my mind how anyone could still trust this guy or his wonky plugins. So for the hundredth time in a decade......Caveat Emptor........

Do you know who the dev is, I mean is it a one man company?

Reading back in the past it seems the company had an OK enough reputation until 5-6 years ago, that is when they started promising updates but didn't deliver them, and the crazy sales started.

Crysonic has never had an "ok" reputation. From day one he made dubious claims of wiz bang proprietary technology in his then Synth Edit plugins that didn't even drop custom .sems or .seps and he couldn't even explain that technology when pressed for details. Then the endless broken promises of updated plugins, the constant sales and failing to deliver service, and sock puppets started.

Yes it's just one guy. I did some research on him years ago and it's just some wanker working out of a house in Australia.

Anyway there's no way I'd give him a penny at this point even if he did actually deliver. I tried some of his plugin demos and quite frankly there were absolute shyte........

No, XP was not "the OS of choice" in 2012. Win7 was first released in October 2009. In October 2012 was first released.

Besides you can easily verify on their website, that their latest release is newB V4 from April last year and since October 2012 (when Win 8 was released) most of their plugins are 64bit.

What about letting people decide themselves? Condescend much?

I purchased the bundel twice (each time for around 30bucks) and I will do it again if and when they will be available as VST3 - okay with you? May I please without you getting butthurt over it? Thank you!

To sum it up in a nutshell, I guess that'll do then :hihi:
