After using the update for a few days. I have to say the melodyne tempo detection to timeline is amazing. I can extract complex tempo changes from live audio and drop a drum loop on it and get tight sync, great job.
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Been trying to get the iPad remote app working with this version, it just won't connect, even with a direct wifi connection with my Mac.

Same problem here with my W10 PC, S1 V3.1.
Have not tried it on V3.2. May use the Surface Pro
version of the Remote on my 23" Multi-touch screen.

Had no problem getting the FL Studio iPad (Air) Remote
to work.

Yeah the Logic remote is also working fine for me, just not the S1 one.

Where can we download the Windows remote?
I only see reference to the iPad download at Presonus

Go to your account page at Presonus, then click My Products, Software, S1 V3, scroll down to Extra Downloads.

The macros will write automation to any parameters they control. So if you have one macro controlling 3 different knobs, automating that macro will write automation for those 3 parameters. But I agree, it would be much easier and make a lot more sense if they just wrote automation for the single macro knob (one automation lane to edit versus three).
ok, Steve Duda solved the whole macroing thing with Serum-FX (has the same(drag and drop assignable) macro system as Bitwig) so who needs DAW level macro anyway from now :tu:

btw Cubase has the same issue just on linker level (Cubas can link the parameters of same fx insterts on different tracks as in the video) just the linker itself hasn't got dedicated automation ... and once more Serum-FX is really brilliant if u need some serial fx chain...

I wonder if people are recording automation differently to me but I have been using macros in S1 for a while now and always get one lane per macro even if it maps to more than one param? - e.g. this macro is mapped to 3 different params in 2 different plugins - just one lane

This just using latch mode and recording the automation by turning the knob with the mouse (or hardware knob). Maybe other methods make more lanes but this works fine for me.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

That's the way it works. You get one lane because you're automating the knob. The parameters get automated as a side-effect.

Post

So why are some people saying it writes 3 lanes?

It does not work for me either. Logic Remote works fine, but the S1 Remote sees nothing.

I did a mix using Console Shaper from the start. It was really nice at first, it filled in space and glued things together when I was just getting things started. However, when I later on added heavy main buss processing, its impact became less beneficial and actually messy, even with all controls at 10 o'clock or less. I'll probably use it mostly when writing because it's an easy way to make things sound finished without using main buss compression.

I wonder how your Console Shaper-only version would compare to your main buss compression mix (if you finished it just with CS and didn't add further compression)?

Do you guys think that Console Shaper is in a way a rip-off of Brainworx bx_console?
