By that logic, aren't they all just rip offs of Slate's VCC?

Thanks, I wasn't aware of VCC as I am not interested in iLok protected plugins.

Try it with automation on the timeline, not in a key editor lane.

I don't generally draw automation in advance but gave it a try:

Still only needing one lane to automate the macro controlling 3 params.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You must have a special version because that doesn't work for anyone else. Playing that back in your example only actually changes that one parameter. The knob moves but the other parameters don't change.

Post

Nope - I am playing it back now with both guis open and can see and hear both playing (ie 2 VCFs in ACE and cutoff in Fabfilter One).

Post

OK proof - sorry can't get Quicktime to record sound but you can see the 3 params moving with the macro and one automation lane

yepp it's working inside a multi-instrument container (seems that has been coded by a musician type coder :D ) , interesting ... try it with inserts

Sorry that's the only way I've been exploring it so far, trying to create mini Kore-like patches.

Right.

I didn't read this whole thread, so I don't know if it has been answered before.

I'm looking for Studio One Remote for Microsoft Surface tablets. On Presonus website, there's only a link to the Ipad app, but I don't see it on their website or on the Windows Marketplace...

1. Log in to "My Account"

2. Click on Studio One 3 from the list of Presonus software you own. This opens up the Studio One downloads available to you...

3. Scroll down past the soundsets for the section called "Extra Downloads" (make sure the type is set to Installers)

4. You should see an option to download "Studio One Remote Installer for Windows"

It would be much easier if they just added it to the Windows App Store like they did for iOS.

I was on to this macro shenanigans the day of release. LawrenceF had a few good ideas but it just wouldn't work, it's a shame presonus don't see the potential in automating one macro to control multiple parameters or perhaps they do i don't know.

Post

I'm pretty sure presonus is aware about the macro problem. The reason why I think they haven't implemented macro automation is because studio one doesnt support native internal midi ports and routing like in ableton and fl studio. If you want to route midi ports in studio one you would need to use a third party application like Loopbe. I'm guessing theyre currently developing or going to develop an internal midi port routing system from the ground up in the near future.
