Thanks, that worked perfectly. i think i might have found a small 'bug'...
i've been testing image import for wavetables, and have started finding fruitful ways to generate images.
so now i'm starting to save my wavetable programs the same way i've been saving audio sample based programs.
here are the steps to recreate this bug:
1. create a keygroup using the wavetable oscillator
2. find a nice .png file anywhere on your hard drive and drag it into the wavetable oscillator.
3. invoke: 'save program and samples as...' and save your program where ever you like
4. check to make sure that as expected, a subfolder is created for your program and that this subfolder contains the .png that was referenced by the wavetable oscillator... (that works)
5. as a safety check, go back and rename the .png which you originally dragged into the wavetable oscillator (the one that's located 'anywhere' on your hard drive)
6. invoke 'Clear Multi'
7. try to load the program you just finished saving.
8. observe the error message 'Couldn't load the file'D:/my_test.png' (or whatever the name of your image file was)

Perhaps of interest to the Wavetable Image experimenters is a program called Capow , another oldie but goodie.

I can confirm the problem, i tried just now to reproduce this with jpg image, so, just create patch with WT with my jpg and "save with samples", saved ok with subfolder with copy of my jpg, then i reopen my patch properly.
Then just rename a source jpg and tried to load patch again - the same problem "couldnt to load the file..." and specified place of source jpg, although should take it from my new place (where i saved my new patch).
Indeed bug.
Win7 64
Added:
In general (just thinking out loud, or as request) would be good if optionally would be ability to "save program with sample" BUT that patch will already contain all used files (jpg, waves etc) inside himself, something like Falcon native archive format, this ability sometimes present in some sampler vsti's, quite comfortable option imo. It will compact, and confidence in the permanence of the patch content.

Hi,
Perhaps I misunderstand what you mean, but with my workflow ( I am a Cubase user so I am used to work like this) I do not get that error message. You seem to open a multi with an image anywhere on your HDD, then save a program with an img in a specific place and finally try to clear an unsaved Multi, and then you want Falcon to find the content of that Multi again.
What I do when I start a new project is - pure discilpline, haha - first create a new folder for it. Inside this folder I create subfolders for, in this case, images. And I copy the image(s) I want to use into this folder.
Then I start Falcon and immediately save the Multi inside the folder (not the subfolder). The I add a Wavetable Osc and add the img from the img subfolder, tweak to my heart's desire and save my Multi.
When I close Falcon and open again and choose Open Multi, and open the saved Multi, the WT Osc and its img are there.

ErikH , the3ug3reeder,
Guys, even without doing anything with multy. More easier:
- Just import your image to WT
- Save preset "Save program and samples as..."
- Rename source image (i.e. NOT that copy that was saved together with preset)
- try to load saved WT preset - you get error.
I.e. the problem is that - saved WT preset continues to use old source image instead new saved copy.
It seems that's all.

Issue with images in WT oscillator saving path will be fixed in next version.
Thanks for the report.

- the 'discipline' was not meant as a remark: it is something I had to learn because I never found anythinbg on my HDD's. And Cubase insists on it.
- Yes, the problem exists on Program level. But I never met it because I save Multi's. Good this will be solved. Next time I'll keep to business. Promised.

no problems, no worries, no troubles amongst Falconists.

I need to have real tremolo. Like a repetition of staccato notes, not a square wave lfo that ups and downs the volume.
Is this possible in Falcon?
I could of course use an arpeggiator, but this is, my idea, not exactly an elegant solution.
Unless I overlook the obvious, I guess this will have to be done with scripting. As I have never scripted before, I would love to get some hints. (I am not hinting at someone doing the work for me!)
Thanks!

If you want actually repeating note-on triggers which trigger the amplitude/filter envelope of each note, there only is the arpeggiator, if you want to modulate the amplitude of a sustained tone, you can draw your own shapes in e.g. a looped multi envelope with multiple segments, or use a ramp down LFO, then you could modulate the modulation depth with another LFO/envelope to make it more organic/less repetitive, and also modulate the speed of the ramp down LFO a little bit with another LFO (like values around 0,02 for modulating LFO speed).ErikH wrote:I need to have real tremolo.
