I don't need or use this area (just above VST GUI - patch name, in/out folders, settings icon, last focus), and with my new 16:9 aspect monitor, I'm finding I need all the vertical space I can muster!

Any way I can hide, delete, turn off, or otherwise make this area disappear?

Thanks!

No it cannot be hidden.

OK, thanks for the quick reply!

Note that you need that control bar in case you want to automate VST parameters.

Very good! I'm sure I'll need it just a bit further down the road then.

Thanks again!

While we're on that topic: As soon as you tweak a VST parameter in the VST editor itself, the focused parameter in that control bar will switch to that last tweaked VST parameter. Then you can easily drag-drop that parameter name on the [+] track button to create a new automation track for that VST parameter.

Wow, that's very intuitive and quick! Then I'll definitely need that strip!

Thanks for the important heads-up! I may be slipping-in a little track automation sooner than I thought! (right now just using this laptop for patch creation and simple composition ideas - like a little cassette system.) The more I use MuLab, the more impressed I am with its ease, and power too. Customization options are nice as well!
