Now... I'm quite a big horror movie fan and horror writer fan.
Whats your favourite horror movie and book??
For me I'd have to say that Evil Dead is probably my favourite horror/comedy, but then there is the Japanese Ring, Ring 2 and Ring 0. All good films. Also a Japanese film called Dark Water that is very good.
As for my favourite book, Clive Barkers Books of Blood wins hands down. The guy is a personal hero of mine!

Sounds a bit wussy, but "What Lies Beneath" was pretty darn scary.
Oh and Misery

fav Horror flicks:
Halloween 1 & 2
The Thing
The Exorcist
The Omen
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead (original)
Day of the Dead
The Ring (US version)
Creepshow
Scanners & The Brood (one/two punch for sci-fi/horror)
Lotsa favs! I think the formula for good Horror has been lost, hence the appetite for the oldies, but there's one coming out called 'SAW' that looks REALLY Good!!

I still like "The Changeling" with George C. Scott. It's an oldie but goodie.

Lost Highway is a good mention..
That twisted mental horror thing is clay in the hands of a director like Lynch..Can't mention that one without a nod to 'Mulholland Drive'
two scenes in that flick with MAJOR Horror appeal:
When the guy sees that whatever the f**k that thing is behind the diner..
When the chick sees her own corpse in the bungalow (best horror moment in recent history for me!!!)
Not to mention Badalementi's awesome work on those soundtracks..whoot!
