You're certainly welcome. It's a privilege and a pleasure to bring Hollow Sun's library to the Reason community in native NNXT format,as well as the ReDrum kits.If you like what you've heard so far,I hope you'll be checking out the Hollow Sun complete ReFill cd,due in September and on schedule.waiting man wrote:another big thanx to you and HollowSun...

For all you vintage synth fans who know or have heard of this excellent collection,I'm also happy to report that Steve and I have discussed dBu doing more Hollow Sun projects in different formats. In fact,I'm so pumped about these sounds, that I'm making it my mission to get them out in every sample playing instrument I can lay my hands on and learn to program,so watch for more to come.VSampler for sure, probably Emulator X,maybe Cameleon resynthesis.I am open to suggestions.
waiting man,I'm a big Malstrom fan too,and I do plan to update ReSynth monthly.I try to take a day every week and spend a couple of hours programming Malstrom, and a little in Subtractor, too.End of the month,I'll bundle it up and put it out.I'll be using Malstrom's audio inputs in rns files for the Hollow Sun ReFill, too.
I'd love to hear from anyone using dBu sounds and hear how the patches sound in other people's music.I'm growing the company out of my own proclivity to sample, program and use original sounds in my own music,so I'm curious to hear how this stuff translates to other folks' creations.Anyone want to do a demo for me?

Are you planning on setting up a website for your project? computermusiconline is ok, but its not very focused, and it requires registration

Yes,there will be a website.I just obtained hosting and a domain today.I'll be announcing the site when I get it going.Everything is focused on September and the cd release,as well as some other projects in the pipeline for fall.
I have had excelent relations with computermusiconline.com and there is some cool stuff there.Registration does confer the advantage of uploading your work, and free hosting for files as big as mine is not to be sneezed at;I think registration is a pretty cheap price to pay for free stuff.Paul is changing hosts and will be relaunching with a lot of improvements, which I think he can explain better than I when the time comes.
I will look forward to hearing your track. In fact,I'm thinking about a contest.Stay tuned.

There seems to be some sort of glitch when trying to connect with computermusiconline. This error is not in the url that I have posted, but seems to be with the site itself,as I got the same error when using the link I have bookmarked for it,which was working fine a couple of hours ago.I apologize for any inconvenience to those of you wanting to check out the ReFills.I will try to contact Paul and see what is going on,then when I know something report back here. Thanks again to everybody who has already downloaded my sounds and to those who are interested.Hang in there with us.

Thanks for your comments...
Computermusiconline Now Tunejet.com is not just for reason refills, although they do appear prominently on the front page...
we hope to create a digital music community and not simply another 'free download' site...... We aim to be user focused and when our users tell us what they want we will do our best to provide it.....we look forward to your input and comments on the website
In fact BassballJG was right in that we are going to make some changes soon.... we have already plans for lots of things but the more comments and suggestions we get the better..
Registration is free anyway so why worry? Its confidential and secure. We will never divulge any users details, and knowing a little about our users needs and software they use will help us to make more democratic and user 'focused' content and that will be good for everyone ...after all ...We are just starting this up...its early days yet
Cheers

Thanks to everybody who has downloaded the new dBu ReFills. We've had over 100 downloads each of Hollow Sun Classic Synths, and ReSynth Free vol 1,just since the fourth when they were announced. And taht's not to mention over 500 for Hollow Sun Classic Analog. It is most gratifying and I am humbled by all of your positive reactions to what we're trying to do.
I hope to have more definate news about these items soon, but here's a quick update:
Everything is on track for the Hollow Sun complete cd to be out on time in the first couple of weeks in September. The title is probably Hollow Sun Classic Instruments.I will make a formal announcement when it's ready to go,of course.
The ReFill itself is very close to done, but there's a lot of other stuff to be done including and especially setting up the Dangerous Bear website. The domain is dangerousbear.com,and constuction will be underway shortly.Again,I will be making an announcement when it's done.
Another new development at dBu is that I am now pretty much sure that I will be doing a demo contest.Details are to be worked out,but I can say that the winners will be getting the ReFill as their prize, and their song on the dBu website for all to hear representing what can be done with these amazing sounds.I will announce where and how to submit entries.Just create a self-contained rns file using only sounds from the two Hollow Sun free Refills. That way,it's impossible to use any other sounds or instruments, since the point is to show off this library.Keep an eye out for details.
Also new on the Hollow Sun front is that dBu will be releasing a second Hollow Sun project,Hollow Sun Classic Beatbox, which will be dedicated to the drum machines portion of the library, and will contain unique ReDrum kits, rns files and rex beatloops created using the Hollow Sun drum sounds. This should be available within a few weeks after the Hollow Sun Classic Instruments ReFill is out. This content will also be released in other formats, such as DR008 kits and wav for Acid.
Thanks again for your interest and support.
