One reverb plugin has an impulse response from Zappa`s own custom reverberation room he had built in his home. Forget which plug at the moment. He said he had it built because he couldn`t get a proper verb on trombones or tubas or something along those lines.

I think there are a few really good documentaries out there such as "Frank Zappa - The Freak Out List - Part 1 of 9 " or "Frank Zappa_ A day with Frank Zappa_1971 ". Both on Youtube.

I don`t see anyone finding anything more then a zillion on stage guitar soloing tapes in those archives. If there was more good pickins, the Zappa boys would have put it out or intend to.
That`s just my take.

That's a lot of money for a 'kitchen'.

I was thinking of having mine remodeled, but I don`t have that sort of dough.

BTW, it was Audioease - Altiverb that once had the Zappa basement echo-chamber as an impulse response. I looked on their site, but didn`t see it there. It's in my library though.

In fact, a new label (Vaulternative) was created last summer. "A new partnership between the Zappa Family Trust and Universal Music Enterprises will bring vinyl reissues of classic albums, exclusives from the vaults and film and theatrical productions." so as to further exploit The Vault.
