Hi, after some weeks not working with Mulab I started the program, loading a piece I was working on, and found out when playing the melody there was no sound
The speakers of my laptop worked fine before and after Mulab and when playing the melody I saw the meters going up and down nicely. I am working with Windows 7, have Asio4All installed.
Has anyone ever experienced this and what can be done to solve this problem.

Hi,

The MuTools support forum is available for help with MuLab and other MuTools products but it sounds like this is more likely something that's causing ASIO4ALL not to be able to open your soundcard, such as another application running (messaging, audio streaming, browser playing music, etc). ASIO4ALL will want exclusive access to the soundcard, so make sure all other programs are closed first.

Thanks, Peter. I had an app running which tells me which character I am typing, because I cannot see very well.
I have removed it, but without success. When i want to play a project I get the message:"The Audio Engine is not running, but I do not know how to get it running.

Go into the..... MULAB MENU / AUDIO SETUP .....and check the settings in the various sections

You may be better not using ASIO. The MME driver should not require exclusive access to your soundcard (and you will not need to run ASIO4ALL) -- that way your typing tool should also be able to work.

Mulab 6 lost its voice
