In Cubase 5.1 is there a way to to remove clicks/pops from the place where the cut in an audio track is? For eg, when I use the scissors to cut an audio track, it will leave a 'pop' sound during play back when it comes to the place where the cut is on the audio track.

Thanks

Unless you take care, this'll basically occur with any software. Zoom in and cut at the nearest zero-crossing point, or apply a fade in/out that includes the cut.

I see, thanks. I guess I was thinking about soundforge in which there is a 'click' removal as I recall...

Wow, I remember Cubase had a really good audio editor where you could just use the pencil to fix pops and clicks. Also you could use fade in/out to get rid of those clicks/pops.
