Sounds pretty strange, eh?

Actually a bit of noise reduction would help to understand speech in the middle of recording.

... and yup, it's in Russian.

wow.
yeah, a part from tape and probably the poet changing angle on the mic there are a lot of sounds played in the background as foley messing things up.
wind, woman chanting, birds.

Sounds strange, yes.
Partial understanding makes it even more evocative.

I'll leave it as it is and use it, but you had me intrigued, I'll see if there's some isolated noise good enough for subtraction...

А мне кажется звучит примерно следующее: "Мы были свидетелями... странного события... То, что произошло... здесь... - мне казалось, что это уже как у ... ребёнка - столько всего было в жизни... Хотя ещё раз мне показалось, что мир находится в состоянии между Scylla и Charybdis"?
