Win or OSX ?ramseysounds wrote:Hi all. Got a really weird issue going on here. Every time I click on a wav file to edit or a midi track to edit cubase either crashes or I get a white screen. The cursor keeps disappearing and the shadow when you duplicate a part doesn't show. I've took out a support ticket at Cubase but while I wait I thought I'd ask here. Searched, but nothing really comes up.

Sorry to hear the reinstall option didn't help. I'm running windows 7 here, and it's A ok. The only thing I could think to do is find a program that will help you to check your drivers, sometimes they find hard to find things. Other than that, I'm with everyone here in thinking that Steinberg will have the best clue. They may have a way to get a crash report off of your system, that will tell them exactly what it is. -best luckramseysounds wrote:Windows 7.
I've logged a ticket with Steinberg, but while I wait I thought I'd ask around these parts. Thanks.
Thanks. Did that. Literally hundreds of items.Tet-64 wrote:Next time it crashes
Go into Event Viewer>Windows Logs>Application (Cubase)
Look for "Faulting module name:"
Go from there
