Apart from "Man on the moon" by REM, "Moonchild" by Fields of the Nephilim and "Whole of the moon" by the illustrious Waterboys?
"Blame it on the Boogie" has "don't blame it on the moonlight", if you can stand listening to that execrable singing
You could move on to the effects of the moon, and go to "Tide is High"
Looking through my MP3 collection there is:
"East of the Sun, West of the Moon" by A-ha (don't mock)
"Dancing in the moonlight" - this one by Thin Lizzy of course
"The Killing Moon" by Echo & the bunnymen
"Picture of the Moon" by Gary Moore
"Shoot the Moon" by Norah Jones
"Sail to the Moon" by Radiohead
"Walking on the Moon" by the Police
and my personal fave out of this batch, "Man on the Moon" by Sugar - much better than the REM song by the same name
