Turns out I'm using the latest driver (3.1.0) ... the knobs and buttons no longer work with Win 8.1 YMMV

I haven't fired up my AK1 in awhile, but I'm running Win7 x64. Maybe it's your version of NI - Control Center? I know the latest version dropped the Kore controllers.
