So only Kontakt works better on OSX but trying to blame a random person who developed VST which doesn't work better on OSX.

Interesting motivation. Is it how Apple community urge third party company into sparing their development resource for exclusive coding? Scapegoating and Peer pressure.

Just like everything else :hihi:

I dunno how we got here but apples can work well or not, PC's can work well, or not

But we can all agree, that FL on a mac......was the disaster of a lifetime :D

I canna believe ya used the PAST tense regarding FL on Mac! It's NOT over until the Rubenesque Lady vocalizes for the last time. I believe in a future where FL exists, nay, works, nay - works FLAWLESSLY on a Mac with any 3rd party plugin on your system, regardless of the OS version. I have a dream. It will come. Just build it. <Insert Tacky Metaphor Here> </Insert Tacky Metaphor Here>

Are they still doing it?

I know it was a total disaster at one point.

Oh well, hey if they can make it rain in OSX, fine with me

They are not doing it, the OSX compiler for Delphi can not do 64 bit, and a lot of the libraries they used for FLS will not port either, so they either rewrite FLS or it doesn't get ported, I'm just glad i offloaded the damn thing when i did.

The Mac plugins had nothing to do with Delphi they were the other natively coded lot from a different internal dev whose name has escaped me. The fact they sell them as non betas without any such warnings that they are inferior, should mean a paying customer has every right to expect them to work properly. Nuff said.
On what am I exactly wrong? And if trolling means pointing out that what you said is patently false and evidence backs it up (the post you conveniently ignored) then I'm guilty.

As IL Mac support is concerned then some of the older outsourced plugin indeed had native Mac support. But the development of those plugins pretty much stopped when the developer went. Most of the IL plugins do not have native Mac support. But as I was mainly talking about FL Studio anyway then the only reason why it was released as Mac alpha was because Delphi finally started to support Mac. IL seems to be stuck with its Delphi code and that's why all their Mac alpha releases are still 32bit.

But now as Gol is out of the game and replaced by an increased development team maybe they can move over to something more modern.

Wait, i haven't been reading the thread in full, but is somebody suggesting that Maxx Clasters IL plugins ran as well in OSX as they did in windows ?
Hahahahahahahahahahaha, wait, hahahahahahahahahahaha, cough, hahahahahahahahahahaha, i'm dying here, hahahahahahaha, they where and still are a complete mess compared to windows, huge resource usage, unstable, and actually looked down upon now by IL staffers, nobody wants to talk about the Maxx Claster OSX ports hahaha

I used to have Toxic Biohazard on the Mac and I can't remember it ever running for more than a minute without crashing.

What does "work better" mean exactly?
How does one measure that?

Very few plugins 'work better' on OSX, if you dont include the ones that are OSX exclusive that is, anybody running OSX for better performance in audio software is quite simply kidding themselves, not only that but housekeeping is now starting to become something of a dirty word in Macland since El Crapitan (the save dialogue issues make it very very hard work to be a sample editor creating libraries for instance, much easier in Yosemite and completely on par with Windows)
Anybody who runs Windows and OSX machines together in their studio knows that the Windows machines pound for pound will do more in terms of straight resources.
Doubtful this is down to the OSX architecture itself and more to do with the recent under current of a lot of developers that while supporting OSX are also muttering f**k you Apple under their breath, Reaper better on windows (less resources, less bugs, actually extra features) Studio One better on Windows....lets not even start this rabbit hole, Maschine better on windows, less resources less bugs, the list goes on and not only with audio developers too.
