Interesting idea for plugin...
Downloaded demo, Loaded in Reaper.
Inside selected vst path, scanned vstis,
selected Predator. Clicked 1-2 ...... FREEZE.

I think I will only use Kirnu Cream to control other vsti, that don't freeze my daw.

Depends on whose list you look at:

I don't think there is a day I don't see users posting problems about VST's in Reaper

I guess there is a reason to why it cost $60

Indeed, so where is Obscurium on that list? :?

Otherwise, quite an interesting listing, M1 in there, and no Sylenth1

You are wrong. Reaper is rock solid on my Win 7,
at least with these plugins: u-he, rob papen, NI synths, Sylenth1, Imposcar,
Ohm force effects, U-he uhbik, Izotope Ozone

My bad, pasted in the wrong link. This is the one I meant to share:

Have you tried WusikStation 8 yet?

...Around version 4-5 I tried it, I remember there was a nice piano sound inside, but the whole instrument was not my cup of tea. And it was a "big" (many gigabytes) instrument. I prefer instruments without huge samples - my current setup (daw + vsti + vst) is ~ 6 GB. I only want to get Kontakt without libraries, to have a good "sampler". I know I can't buy without libraries, but I try to get it sec.hand....

Post

I didn't post an ad for Wusik.

Just the other day that user posted about not being able to load WusikStation 8 in Reaper without it crashing after awhile, and today you post that you have problems with Obscurium in Reaper...

Post

Yes, the reason of the freeze I met can be:
-Obscurium bug
-Reaper bug

I don't know which. I just know, that I tried many demo nowadays, and there were no freezes.

So I don't want anybody turn away from Obscurium - it was just my experience.

Post

I've had Obscurium going for several hours in FL Studio session today, and no problems

Post

Maybe I will try it in Fl tomorrow .... I want to know what sounds can be produced wit this..

Post

You don't have to change DAW, as Obscurium can load VSTs, you can use it as standalone sort of mini-DAW

Post

could this power a hardware synth? (instead of VSTs)
