Harrison Mixbus 3 is coming today!

Well some people seem to be lucky, (at least they say they are, got to be careful of the fanboi factor). I have found Mixbus to be pretty much Crash City if trying to use it for anything other than importing and mixing stems, even then it crashes enough that I just have no desire to use it, can crash for God knows what reason, tweak a dial, press a button, on shut down, it can be anything, and from what I read I am not alone. Try to use it as a fully fledged DAW? forget it, not happening, even disregarding the VST/VSTi incompatibilities. Just my experience, and really that's all I can go on. I have no trouble with Studio One 3 (solid as a rock) Reaper 5 (solid as a rock) and Sonar X3 and Platinum before I ditched Sonar altogether, and every VST/VSTi I have and wish to use works fine in those DAW's.

It's a shame, because Mixbus can make things sound pretty damn good. I'm going to follow it until I need to spend more money to be able to stay current with it, and if it's still the same I'll just ditch it. I think the no demo thing is a bit shaky, I mean I can see why they are reluctant to put up a demo, but the excuse they give is a little . . . well off to me.

Look, fwiw, I'm happy you chimed in and do NOT believe that you are trying to bring the product down!

That's why I don't own it No demo. Much B/S about "3rd party yadda" from them in print and it's not on sale.



I'm not a cheap f**ker! 79 bucks is more than fair, but w/o being able to check my vst's, who the f...k knows?

Im Mixbus user.And i have to say that Mixbus is trap!No re-sale and refund.I'm not happy with my Mixbus and now trying to get my money back.But even they don't answer my mails.I want my money back and buy Reaper.
