They are doing something, have no idea what it is. Check instigerm, I mean gram and propellerheads to see it. (I don't have instigerm)

I'm not seeing anything new?

It would be nice to see ReBirth in Reason - the 303 and the PCF w/ distortion that is.... They can skip the kit.

Well the post over at reasontalk was the one at the top right with some kinda quote about being able to play with it over the weekend.

Like I said, I don't do instagerm so I really don't know.

I always wondered why they didn't implement it in Reason. They probably didn't want to kill Rebirth off, after all they did an iPad version of it. Shame that it's virtually impossible to even rewire it into Reason now, when you use the 64-bit version.

I haven't upgraded since 6.5 and to be honest I'm losing hope for 9. What would convince me to part with another $130? A clear message that the core product and previous customers matter:

1. vector UIs that are resizable -- using Thor on the iPad is so much nicer than the real Thor.
2. combinator inside combinator support -- several factory patches are combis and make it a pain to extend them
3. oversampling on the older devices to clean up that aliasing -- like they added the switch on the back on of the 14:2
4. custom samples in Malstrom
5. much better stretch tuning for NNXT/nn19/nnano
6. poly CV and/or midi cables for chords
7. an option for audio-rate CV
8. ReCycle should not be a separate product.
9. Give me the mix bus channel (plus the master bus compressor) as a real reason device I can embed in combinator patches.

I have a soft spot for Reason, especially in the 3.x - 4.x timeframe. Nowadays it seems like PHeads just want to pump out several A-List $100 sample packs rebranded as plugins and to get you on their social network (because social == profit?). Bitwig is close to scratching the itch that used to be done with Reason's modular fun.
Feel free to call me Brian.

REWIRE 3.0!!!

Seriously, Reason is awesome as it is but the ReWire spec is limited by not allowing 2-way audio.

Unleash the beast and allow us to use it like an outboard mixer or effects rack. That's all I want.

I'm really excited to see what they do next. I have a really good feeling they are going to do some really cool stuff in Reason 9.

+1 to all of this. I have a soft spot for Reason also since Rebirth and then Reason were my introduction to making music on a PC (if only I knew then at 15 what I do now about synthesizers... Subtractor didn't exactly make it obvious that you could stack and detune several of them for example)

If I could only have one of those I'd have to say 3 would be best... Despite all the hype of Reaktor 6's Blocks and Softube Modular weighing in, Reason is an established product that does a great deal of whats promised in the other two. Especially coupled with Ochen K's A-Series modulars... I've had a lot of fun with those!

Virtually anything at this point in time (now 10 1/2 months w/o ANY update :x )

Yeah, they're really quite quiet these days. I think some people are hoping for an update of the rack extension SDK. Rob Papen said that they won't bring out Predator 2 as a RE due to limitations of the SDK, other devs too, e.g. Spire won't be developed as RE atm too, because the SDK doesn't support multi page layouts. An update for the included devices, especially the synths would be nice to see too. Lot to be done i guess.

a sequencer tweak / update would be nice too - would be nice to see the piano roll enhanced with note names at the cursor position, etc...

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
