Didn't find Supercharger very useful, so I overlooked the enhanced one. Yesterday I had the urge to demo some NI stuff, and among them GT. Long story short: it's on top of my future purchases list.

Funny thing: I didn't like UBK-1. Now I'm interested in demoing the Solid Mix Series.db3 wrote:Yeah, loving Supercharger GT...similar to UBK-1

The Solid Bus Comp is simply outstanding. Vari-Comp maybe even more so - for silky yet transparent.e@rs wrote:Funny thing: I didn't like UBK-1. Now I'm interested in demoing the Solid Mix Series.db3 wrote:Yeah, loving Supercharger GT...similar to UBK-1
Have just snagged Supercharger GT so I'm happy.

Decided I don't actually need any of the Solid Mix plugins. Pro-C 2 takes the transparent compression duties here. I needed a comp that is the total opposite of my transparent one and founded it in GT.

If you need a beast to destroy your sound, take a look at the softube FET compressore@rs wrote:Decided I don't actually need any of the Solid Mix plugins. Pro-C 2 takes the transparent compression duties here. I needed a comp that is the total opposite of my transparent one and founded it in GT.

^Thanx for the suggestion, but I'm not a big fan of companies that are too lazy to provide an individual installer for each of their products.
I think I'll try Omnipressor instead. When they'll have it on sale, of course.

Got GT installed this morning and in my 10 minutes before work I briefly tested it - wow this thing is SPECIAL.

I've found fxpansion's chancomp to be a fantastic Fet alternative. Their whole dcam dynamics bundle is highly underrated.e@rs wrote:^Thanx for the suggestion, but I'm not a big fan of companies that are too lazy to provide an individual installer for each of their products.

@Dcam fxpansion: I have the RE's and they are fine for the 25 bucks I paid for the set. I'm guessing it's not quite the same for vst? A little too much dirt for my taste most of the time though.
@SC GT: It was one of my favs when I was vst. What I liked about it was that it did super squish/squash for lovely coloring (amongst other things)

So, I was considering Presswerk but is very expensive and I am annoyed that it can't be controlled with Push easily because the parmeters are not linked when controlled from it.
SO I was looking forother thing to bring some character and saturation and it is between supercharger which sounds awesome and is easy to use or Saturn which is also awesome but it is more a deep hole of experimentation. I will get both eventually but right now I only can get one, which would you get first?
