Why would anyone want to pay for Soundcloud when it has no re-sales for peoples music and no charts and no reviews only mini comments and streaming that could be gotten for free from a myriad of web services that would be acquired by adding a simple streaming widget to share on forums? The only electronic with tons of hits on soundcloud I ever noticed was homogonized generic or total top class homogonized non generic. The issue with homogonizing that occurs with professionals making demo's, say on, 8Dio or Soundiron.com or some special artist is that they tend to quantize too much and tend to in my opinion use a basic soundset instead of a really creative kit of sounds. Anyone think soundcloud should only be free with MORE features and still free? I sure do with just say ad banner's that many who like total mainsteam trance, techno, drum n' bass and dubstep etc only would click who happen to be the majority along with commercial remix's etc.

Only in the comments, like:VitaminD wrote:"• An uninterrupted, ad-free listening experience"
Did the classic version of Soundcloud have advertisements in the audio stream?
"Sounds dope. Did you know you can buy real listeners?"
"Great! Check out my track: realdawgiestyleefersho, and pleasr comment and repost! Thx, bro!"
Maybe commercials is coming in the stream?Obligatory listens to the big business' tracks. Press like and repost to continue listening.

It seems people are responding without reading what's being offered.
At its core, this is a service made to compete with Spotify and iTunes Music subscription as well as the numerous other music subscriptions services.
What it will become later on... Or what they hope to achieve is a way for content creators that are not already signed to the heavy hitter labels ("UMG, Sony, Merlin, Warner and others") a way to possibly earn revenue from tracks listened to and played by users that are subscribed.
If you have no need for something like Spotify, and specifically... the paid for service of Spotify, or a service like it, then you don't need a Sound Cloud Go subscription.
If you create your own tracks and are not signed on to a major label participating with Sound Cloud GO, then you currently don't have a benefit but possibly hope that the subscription service takes off so you do have a way to make something from your creative efforts (provided people want to listen to you
