Effects were needed but I didn't have the time, I wanted to do more, especially with the saw pad and clap/hihat.

Yep, that's just what I want. the drums are very punchy and bright (the punchy thing is great, but the brightness sounds like the modern songs).Kolyev wrote:Thanks for putting me to the second round, I'm glad you like my mix.
Just for clarification, what exactly would you want me to change in the mix? Make the drums more old-school/lo-fi?
I'm actually a bit puzzled what you mean with the reverse kick, as I didn't reverse anythingMaybe it's some effect that makes it sound like it...
Yes, your mix sounds very clear and greatly done, but I thought you could be a bit more creative with it. You can make little changes so it doesn't sound very different from the first mix, if you want. Or maybe there is something you want to correct - it happens to me everytime. Nothing like rendering a mix to listen all the things you didn't as expectedphotonic wrote:Thank you Jorgeelalto!
I am happy to reached second round. But I am not sure what to change. No real hint in your comment, accept makin it sounding a bit different to the original. I will try some changes to my taste. I hope it will not get worse!
